La policía de la provincia de Buenos Aires realizó una serie de múltiples operativos en la zona sur del Gran Buenos Aires, por medio de los cuales logró el secuestro de una gran cantidad de estupefacientes para la venta, así como también distintas armas de grueso calibre y dinero en efectivo.
Mediante los allanamientos, llevados a cabo en las localidades de Quilmes, Lanús, Lomas de Zamora y Avellaneda, se logró la incautación de 78 kilos de marihuana, 5 de cocaína y casi 3 mil dosis de paco, además de pistolas calibre 9 milímetros, escopetas cortas y dinero en efectivo. Acerca de las dosis de pasta base incautadas, el Gobernador Daniel Scioli aseguró que “se está trabajando junto al ministro (Ricardo) Casal para prevenir este flagelo del paco”.
Además, las fuerzas de seguridad lograron aprehender alrededor de 300 personas vinculadas con el robo y el narcotráfico. Todos fueron detenidos y quedaron a disposición de la Justicia.
